ICC Champions Trophy 2017 | Pakistan vs England| Pakistan won the semifinal by 8 wickets | Maham Zafar

England: Pakistan had a quite unpredictable victory in ICC CHAMPIONS TROPHY 2017.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl. England scored 211 and the last wicket was taken on the second last ball of the inning. It was pretty hard to understand that the Green-Shirts didn’t let England to set a high target or the England team was not playing good enough.

Yesterday, Eoin Morgan, Captain England Cricket Team, while talking to media person said that Pakistan came to the tournament as eighth-ranked team. He added, the team is totally unpredictable. If Pakistan team plays with interest and focus then it can beat any team in cricket very easily.

Shaheens, listened to what he said and did an outstanding job today and won the match by 8 wickets. Though, the target to be achieved was not a difficult one but as said by Morgan. As everybody knows that Pakistan team is highly uncertain, so, the decision wasn’t obvious till a major portion of runs was not secured. Fakhar and Azhar made half centuries but both lost their wickets while playing in aggression or they better know why they played those silly shots.

Later, Babar and Hafeez continued the match and let the Green-Shirts to qualify for the the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 Final.

Hasan Ali was declared the player of the match due to his excellent bowling. He dedicated that award to his younger birthday as a gift for his birthday.

Second Semi-Final

Now, the second semi-final will be played between India and Bangladesh. That match will decide what is going to happen in the Final match.

Being a loyal Pakistani, my best wishes and prayers are with the Shaheens. The rest is left to God and the mood of Pakistan Team.
