Bill Gates is known to be the world’s most successful and influential entrepreneurs. He is the Co-Founder of MICROSOFT and often called “The Father of Personal Computer”.

At the age of 13, he created a computer game which lets the player to play tic-tac-toe against the computer. He also scored 1590 on his SATs too.

He has been honored with several awards up till now and a few of them are:

  • Presidential Medal of Freedom-2016
  • Padma Bhushan-2015
  • Silver Buffalo Award-2010
  • Bower Awards for Business Leadership-2010
  • Satellite Special Achievement Award for Outstanding contribution to Entertainment New Media-1997
  • Distinguished Fellow o the British Computer Society-1994
  • National Medal of Technology and Innovation-1992
  • Bower Award and Prize for Achievement in Science

 

Apart from the technological evolutions by Bill gates, he along with Melinda Gates initiated the world’s largest charitable trust “The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation” which has contributed a lot in public health and earned the 2013 Lasker-Bloomberg Public Service award in result of their contributions which were not confined to just a few areas but also catered the previously neglected areas and targeted the toughest existing health issues. Bill and Melinda Gates have also been honored with the German Media Award BAMBI in the “Millennium” category.

 

One of his famous and frequently quoted lines is:

“I choose a lazy person to do a hard job

Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it.”
